Neither of us has employment that offers insurance nor can we afford healthcare services or the insurance to cover it on our own. Although we’re not ineligible, we are unable to enroll in the medicare/medicaid program because politicians from our state refused to accept the federal expansion offered to provide wider coverage. Regardless, dental problems are not usually covered by health insurance in the U.S. Therefore the discovery of a new cavity causes a great deal of anxiety for us both.
