Digital Fine Art Reproduction Printing
When it comes to reproducing and editioning works of art originally made on paper or canvas, matching the substrate and surface quality to the original can be a real challenge. We offer a wide range of options to help make this step easier.
We have partnered with Canson-Infinity to provide the finest papers and canvas to our clients. We believe fine art is not just about the idea but the material the idea is constructed with as well. That is why we are happy to be working with Canson-Infinity. For over 400 years, France’s Canson Paper has been producing some of the highest quality art paper in the world. Our partnership brings that quality into the work we produce for you. We offer the full-line of Canson-Infinity papers and canvases1 to provide you with an extensive range of substrate and surface options. For additional variety, we also work with the full line of Moab papers and select papers from Awagami, Hahnemuhle and Epson.
Proofing Sessions
We offer a collaborative proofing session to all of our clients. Proofing sessions are ideal for clients who are concerned about the finer details in their prints. We will work with you in person to match colors or tones from previous editions produced elsewhere. Proofing Sessions may be invaluable for clients seeking to produce limited editions for collectors. For details and pricing, see tab above.
Please note, on all orders over $500, prints produced without a proofing session are sold as is.
Process and Quality
Jason Houge Studios uses the latest technology from Epson with their proprietary UltraChrome HD pigment-based inks formulated for long-term archivability and enjoyment. Our workflow is calibrated from digital capture to print to ensure color and tonal accuracy from start to finish. Each paper we use is custom profiled to achieve the most accurate colors and tonal ranges possible.
* 99.9% Pantone color accuracy based on manufacture claims. We custom profile each substrate we work with consistently to ensure the broadest and most accurate color and tonal ranges possible. Some variance is possible due to substrate reflectivity and lighting conditions. 1We stock most Canson-Infinity and Moab papers in house in addition to select Hahnemühle, Epson and Awagami Papers. Some papers are only available on a case-by-case basis by special order. Contact us for more information and to schedule a presentation of papers and surfaces. Special Orders are subject to at least 50% deposit upfront.
